Dear Friends,
As many of you know, a neo-Nazi group proclaimed today, February 25, as a National Day of Hate–specifically, hate against Jews. There is a call for vandalism and other anti-Semitic acts against Jewish institutions.
I was asked by a number of people what Temple Beth Tikvah’s response will be to the call for hatred against our people. Last night, I delivered my answer during Erev Shabbat services.
Here is a link to the sermon: https://youtu.be/VfrN9yuoA6I I invite you to take a look, join us in our communal response, and ask your unaffiliated Jewish friends to consider becoming a member of our thriving and energized sacred community that is dedicated to joyous active Jewish living. Our response to anti-Semitism and all forms of hate will last more than a day. Together, we will bring an extra measure of light to the world around us for many years to come.
Wishing you a continuing Shabbat filled with love, joy and blessing, and a coming week filled with the same and more.
L’shalom,
Rabbi Brian Beal
