Thanksgiving at the Food Pantry

This year, because of ongoing Covid concerns, we will not be packing baskets for distribution to our clients. Instead, each client will be given Shop Rite gift cards in addition to their regular food allotment so they can purchase Thanksgiving items (turkey, sweet potatoes, cranberries, etc.) to help them celebrate the holiday in the traditional fashion. We can support WIN’s Thanksgiving in two ways:

1. Bring the following items to the temple and deposit them in the WIN collection bin: Stove top stuffing, canned or packaged gravy, cranberry sauce, canned yams, canned corn, canned string beans, commercially packaged cake and cookies.
2. Shop Rite gift cards in the amount of $15., or checks in any amount payable to WIN Food Pantry can be sent to the temple to my attention, or mailed directly to WIN Interfaith Network, PO Box 3341, Wayne, NJ 07470-3341.Please mark checks and gift cards as specifically for Thanksgiving from TBT.

Your continued support is deeply appreciated, particularly at this season of holiday celebrations. I can’t think of a better way to show our thanks for all we have than by sharing some of our good fortune with others. Each of us can enrich our own Thanksgiving experience knowing we’ve helped our neighbors by making their day special, too.
