Shiva Minyan Service from Thursday, January 20, 2022. Service leader is Rabbi Ari Lorge of Central Synagogue or NYC. Featured Speakers are Ambassador Andrew Young, former US Ambassador to the UN. Former US Congressman from Georgia, and the 55th Mayor of Atlanta. Ambassador Young began his career as a pastor, serving as executive director of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, where he met Rabbi Dresner. Additional speakers include Rabbi Everett Gendler, who also marched with Rabbi Dresner in Albany, Georgia, and was a early proponent in Judaism of equal rights for the LGBTQ community, women’s ritual participation & Palestinian rights. The final speaker is Rabbi Allen Secher, who also marched with Rabbi Dresner in Albany, Georgia. Rabbi Secher is a supporter of civil and human rights, he is an author, producer, radio host, and public speaker

Shiva Minyan Service from Saturday, January 21, 2022. Service leader is Rabbi Or Rose, of the Chatham Synagogue, as well as writer and social activist. Or Rose is the founding director of the Center for Global Judaism at Boston’s Hebrew College, which provides educational programming and resources on issues of contemporary Jewish spirituality, Israel-Diaspora relations, religious pluralism and environmental responsibility.
