LOVE THE NEIGHBOR, presented by Reverend Andrew Smith
Thursday, October 21
“Love thy neighbor” is a core ethical teaching in many of the world’s great religions; but love can not remain an abstract ethical principle. Love has to be specific, and it has to be enacted and embodied. With Rev. Andrew Smith (Grace United Presbyterian Church), we will explore what this looks like in interfaith and multifaith relationships as we learn to embrace what we have in common and celebrate what makes us unique, beginning with our two congregations that are literal neighbors.
