As a follow-up to the community-wide discussion about Unintentional Prejudice, we welcome
Lisa Gray to our Thoughtful Thursday series. Lisa will share with us some personal stories and
talk about how race is viewed through a black perspective – and the steps we can take to
change the narrative.
About Lisa Gray:
Lisa was born and raised in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn New York commonly
known as (Bed-Stuy). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Brooklyn College and,
shortly thereafter, entered the world of finance with HSBC, the world’s leading international
bank. There Lisa amassed a 37-year career and currently serves as Vice President, Department
Operations and Credit Manager in the Corporate Strategic Partners Group where she leads a
team of five. Her office is located in the global headquarters in New York City. She presently
resides in Pompton Lakes with her spouse and two furry ones always about.
