The Cantor Romalis Music Fund Needs Your Help

As we launch our fund-raising effort to revitalize the Cantor Emeritus Charles D. Romalis Music Fund, we want to extend the opportunity to honor Charles by contacting as many of his former b’nai mitzvah students as we can in order to give them the opportunity to participate in this effort. We ask that those of you who have adult children who prepared for their b’nai mitzva with Charles send us their current contact information. We are certain that many of those former students would be more than happy to participate in this worthwhile endeavor as a way of thanking Charles for the time and effort and support he provided for them during their “coming of age” struggles – his was the voice of calm and confidence that led them to the bema to fulfill the commandment of becoming a bar or bat mitzvah. And as they matured, these young people, I am sure, considered Charles to be the voice of Temple Beth Tikvah.
