FUNDS:

Cantor Emeritus Charles D. Romalis Music Fund
Supports Temple Beth Tikvah’s music programs throughout the year. These include the choir, concerts, high holidays and religious school.

Cooper Bright Future Fund
This fund is designated to help develop and/or establish activities or programs that will help our TBT Congregation find our pathway forward and secure our future.

Endowment Fund
An endowment has been established to build a legacy and help meet the infrastructure and operational needs of Temple Beth Tikvah over the long term, thus securing the future of Temple Beth Tikvah, our House of Hope.

General Fund (formerly known as Free Will)
Contributions to the General Fund will be designated to the following:  Building Operations & Repairs, Caring Community (helping members in times of illness or loss), Religious School, Security & Trainings, and General Operations.

High Holiday Appeal/Kol Nidre Fund
This is Temple Beth Tikvah’s primary fundraiser of the year, held during the High Holiday season.  The High Holiday Appeal allows for every congregant to give whatever amount is most comfortable.

Joseph Gotthelf Holocaust Memorial Fund
Designated exclusively to provide a noted theologian speaker each year to the Temple during a Shabbat evening service.

Mark Pressler Memorial Mitzvah Fund
This fund goes to our compassionate giving program. This supplements the annual Temple dues for people in financial need.

Rabbi Israel Dresner Tikkun Olam Fund
Supports honorarium for the annual lecture on Social Justice.

Rabbi Israel S. Dresner Library Fund
This fund was established to support the bridge to TBT’s rich history and Rabbi Dresner’s legacy through inclusive intergenerational programming.

Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund
These monies may be used by the Rabbi for needs and projects consistent with the religious, educational and charitable purposes of the Congregation and with the needs of the extended Jewish community.

SCHOLARSHIPS:

Bea Weisberg Memorial Scholarship Fund
Designated as a scholarship for higher education in any field or endeavor. This scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic standing and/or financial need and is available to children of Temple Beth Tikvah members.

Deidre Rindner Religious School Memorial Fund
Provide programs and enhancements for the benefit of the Religious School. In loving memory of a Temple Beth Tikvah Religious School student.

Devra Weingart Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is awarded annually to a high school senior whose immediate family are members of Temple Beth Tikvah. This scholarship is primarily for youth who are planning a career in an educational field. This scholarship is in loving memory of Devra Weingart, who was a teacher and member of Temple Beth Tikvah.

Lieberman-Weinberg Fund
Provides financial assistance towards religious school tuition for children of Temple members.

Marilyn Kailo Music and Arts Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is for the children of TBT members who are pursuing higher education in music or the arts.

Mitzvah Torah Scholarship Fund
Provides Religious School scholarships to children of members in good standing who have a financial need.

Religious School PTO Scholarship Fund
Acknowledges high school seniors who have demonstrated a commitment to their Judaic studies by completing all grades of TBT Religious School.

Business Card Ad
Sent out weekly in the Temple’s Email Newsletter. 

Golden Books & Tribute Cards
Honor or memorialize family and friends, and special events.

Memorial Plaques
Memorialize your loved one in Temple Beth Tikvah’s Sanctuary.

Paving Stone Path
Paving stones on the synagogue’s walkway may be purchased in tribute to special Jewish and other life cycle events or in memory of a loved one.

Tree of Life
Wall plaques on the Chapman Atrium’s Tree of Life may be purchased in tribute to special Jewish and other lifecycle events.
