Israel is our haven as Jews. Immediately following the Holocaust, Jews from all over came together and tilled the land, created transportation, built homes, and schools literally Community Building; Building Community. Kibbutz life is unique to Israel. By design it requires individuals to help each other in all aspects of living. Life on a Kibbutz is a cooperative collaboration where responsibilities are shared for many aspects of daily living: cooking, cleaning, farming, education, childcare, medical care, etc.
On March 1, we will explore this unique lifestyle which is an interesting aspect of our Jewish heritage. This program is for all families, parents, children and Grandparents to experience a meaningful and fun morning. We will celebrate Shabbat together!
In addition, we will be dedicating our newly renovated TOT and Youth Lounge space for learning to be known as: The Dee Ra room, dedicated in memory of Deidre Rindner
Join us for the mitzvah of community building and the Simcha of this special dedication.
