Tamara Reps Freeman, D.M.A. is the musicologist of the Association of Holocaust Organizations. She is an adjunct professor of Holocaust music, culture, and education at Yeshiva University, Cali School of Music, Montclair State University, and Saint Elizabeth University. Her dissertation is our country’s sole interdisciplinary Holocaust music education curriculum for grades Kindergarten through high school. Dr. Freeman, a concert violist, performs lecture recitals of music composed in WWII ghettos and concentration camps on her 1935 Joseph Bausch viola, which was rescued from Berlin in 1942. www.HolocaustMusic.org.
