Ellen Goldin (tbtexec@templebethtikvahnj.org) is celebrating her 25th year of family membership and employment at Temple Beth Tikvah. Born and raised in Brookline, Massachusetts Ellen’s family belonged to Kehillath Israel, a Conservadox synagogue. Religious school was 5 days per week with homework! A far cry from the way things are today.
She worked at TBT as a teacher in the Religious School for 8 years and then became the Educator in the fall of 1999. In 2004 she became the administrator/educator. Trained as an educational social worker, Ellen has an MSW degree. She loves the people interaction and problem solving that are central to her position. Additionally Ellen’s strong Jewish identity makes working in the Jewish world a natural for her.
Ellen and her husband Michael live in Wayne. They have a married daughter and a married son who are twins. Last August they became Grandparents. In her spare time, Ellen’s favorite thing is being with her family.
