On Mitzvah Day we welcomed our guest speaker, Hope Johnson, who gave a heartwarming overview of being homeless for a period of time in her life. It brought the reality to our mission of helping the homeless. Adults, teens and our own Religious School students joined in the effort of organizing all of the donations to be distributed to the homeless. The other mission was to help the elderly and this was accomplished by decorating flowerpots and planting various plants which were then to be distributed during the holidays.
