Nothing tells our story better than the voices of the people who have experienced it firsthand! The testimonials on our landing page and below capture the warmth, connection, and sense of belonging that define our community. “Our family joined Temple Beth Tikvah a little less than a year ago and we cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience so far. We received such a warm welcome by the staff and congregation members and we are so grateful for all the new friends we’ve made. Our girls (age 12 and 9), look forward to Hebrew school every week and are disappointed when they have to miss it! It is unbelievable!
As we prepare for our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah, we feel so supported by her teachers, the Rabbi, Cantor, and temple staff. Everyone has made this process so much easier than I expected. If you are looking for a reform congregation to join, like we were, I can’t recommend TBT highly enough.” ~ Lorry G.

“Temple Beth Tikvah is a warm and welcoming community of which my family and I feel fortunate to be a part. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted by exceptionally friendly staff who make everyone feel at home. The rabbi is outgoing and thoughtful and creates engaging services and programs. What makes this congregation particularly special for our family is its strong commitment to involving young children. Regular events and activities are designed to engage kids and help build a strong Jewish identity from an early age. There are other families with children of similar ages, which has given us the opportunity to form lasting friendships and feel connected to the broader Jewish community. The sanctuary itself is beautiful, highlighted by stunning stained glass, and the building offers ample space to host holidays and celebrations. We’re very happy to be at TBT! ~Glen W.

“We have been members of Temple Beth Tikvah since our oldest was six months old, and it has truly become a place our children look forward to attending for all kinds of activities. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed into a warm and caring community. Our children are always excited to come to TBT, where they are greeted with genuine smiles, kindness, and familiar faces. The programs and activities are always engaging and have truly helped them develop their Jewish identity. It is comforting to know our children are in such a nurturing and supportive environment. We feel incredibly lucky to have found TBT and to be part of such a special place.” ~ Michelle N.K.

“TBT has been part of my family for 3 generations and continues to offer us all spiritual stability as we have grown and evolved. While I don’t currently live in Wayne, it’s comforting to know I can come home to the familiarity and warmth of the TBT community.” ~ Lea C., 28

“When my wife and I first joined Temple Beth Tikvah (TBT) my wife was the one who quickly found an emotional and spiritual home. I was the typical “high holiday” and special occasion Jew focused on other aspects of my life. As time went on however, I became aware of the commitment and dedication of the clergy, staff and so many of the congregation to actually translate the goals and aspirations of Reform Judaism into concrete and meaningful actions. Actions that impacted not only TBT and the Jewish community at-large, but our multi-cultural community as well. I am now deeply invested in TBT. My point is, that no matter where you are in life, no matter where life takes you, TBT has something to offer you that will make your life more fulfilling and complete. It certainly has for me.” ~ Clark O., 89

“I wanted a Jewish spiritual home for me and my son where my non-Jewish husband would feel equally warmly welcomed and included. TBT checks all the boxes. We love the clergy and temple community!” ~ Jamie E., 50
