TEMPLE BETH TIKVAH

Life Cycle

Life cycle moments mark the most meaningful transitions in Jewish life. From birth and naming to B’Nai Mitzvah, marriage, and remembrance, our congregation walks with individuals and families through each sacred milestone. We honor tradition while recognizing that today’s families are beautifully diverse, including interfaith households and those exploring Jewish life from many starting points. Our clergy work closely with each family to create experiences that are authentic, inclusive, and spiritually meaningful. Whether you are celebrating a simcha (joyous event) or navigating loss, we are here to support our members with compassion.

  • Celebrate a New Baby – We joyfully welcome new life into our community with the ceremonies that honor Jewish tradition and embrace the hopes of your family.
  • B’nai Mitzvah – Becoming a bar or bat mitzvah marks a powerful step in to Jewish adulthood, guided by learning, leadership, and meaningful participation in our congregation. Learn more about our Religious School.
  • Wedding – We celebrate Jewish marriage as a sacred partnership and work with couples, including interfaith families, to create a ceremony that reflects commitment, tradition, and shared values.
  • Funeral – In times of loss, we provide compassionate guidance rooted in Jewish ritual, helping families honor their loved one with dignity and care.
  • Conversion – For those choosing Judaism, we offer thoughtful study, personal mentorship, and a welcoming community as you formally embrace Jewish life.
